RAC to confirmed Reservation seat?
I took reservation ticket for Indian Railway (2626) 10 days back. that time the status was on RAC 6; now the status is RAC 1.

I am damn sure within a day or two, I would get confirmed seat.

I wanted to know how do I get the new seat number on my current Ticket. It is printed as RAC 6 now!!!
Please help

I AM ASKING; HOW DO I GET THE NEW SEAT STATUS GET PRINTED ON MY TICKET. IF I AM WRITING IT ON A PAPER, WHAT TO TELL TO TTR?


Just after two days visit the following URL and enter your PNR... if your seat is confirmed by then... you will also be able to see your seat number. Note it down for your reference.

JUST AN ADD ON FOR YOUR CLARIFICATIONS:::

MY DEAR,
Every RESERVATION chart is printed only 3 hours before the trains departure.. So your seat number will be printed on that chart for TTR to see... OK!.... You DO NOT (I repeat DO NOT) need to get it printed on your TICKET!!! The only thing he will see is your PNR number and will verify your seat number from his (UPDATED) chart!!!
Put in hand verification purpose voter ID, or Pan Card (image with name identification)
I just cannot clarify anything beyond this!
